The 10th was Monday, so here is a sneak peek of my day.
This school year, I haven't been hitting the snooze button as much, but instead I've used my "snooze" time to have a cup of coffee in bed and watch the Today show for a little bit before I start my day.
View from my classroom...it was a cold, foggy day.
During the month of December, I string up lights around my white board to make it festive :)
We are working on Inequalities & I found this perfect Holiday lights activity as a review for their quiz this week.
I got a bunch of text notifications during my lunch that my Amazon orders had arrived (Merry Christmas, kids!!!) so before I got Luke I went home to hide the boxes so they didn't see them.
Got Luke from my mom and when we got home I made him a snack and while I was doing that, he made an orange tower...he is always building things. Legos, blocks, fruit...you name it, he builds it.
I was working on finishing up the rest of our Christmas cards & I opened up the last package of our cards and included with my cards were 3 of this other couple's cards. It was so bizarre. I did a quick google search of their last name and wedding date (their first names weren't on the cards) and I found their registry on the knot and they got married here in the Bay Area. Long story short & thanks to IG, I found this couple and found out not only does this couple live in my town but the girl works at our church and we have several friends in common!!!
I'm going to drop her cards off at church this week & I told her that I am keeping 1 to add to our 2018 Christmas card banner. I also told her I am giving her one of my cards since we are now Christmas Card buddies. So random! Such a small world. This was a highlight of my Monday :)
Another highlight was Luke wanting to sort all the clean laundry from the dryer :)
I also worked on my 12 Deals of Christmas post....if you missed it, you can see the post HERE.
These deals are good for anyone, customers & non customers. Great prices & discounts.
Then it was time to drop Claire off at her Lacrosse clinic.
She is playing Lacrosse this Spring for the first time.
Back home and dinner time....Creamy Chicken & Tortellini Soup.
Recipe HERE.
Then I got a call from my mom & she needed me to come over and help her and my dad hold up their garage because it broke and they needed to get her car out.
Listened to Pentonix Christmas album on the way there! Loving it.
Back home and time for a glass of wine & a Hallmark Christmas movie.
We watched Welcome to Christmas.
What is your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie this year?
There you have it, a sneak peek of my 10th!
Hope you are having a good week!
